This joke never gets old

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them just came out today (here in Japan we always have it later than other countries...)
and I've been in Harry Potter nostalgia mood lately.
Found a couple of funny memes on the internet........one of my favorite is this.
The "Sirius" pun.

HAHAHA WTF
POOR RON
NO WONDER SHE ALWAYS GETS GOOD GRADES IN POTIONS... I KNEW IT!!

Hey, apparently the one fucking Sirius is not Hermione....but this wolf guy. LOL

hahaha
shit
I'm still busy and I wonder if I can watch the movie tonight or not.......I really want to watch it but today is a national holiday and "ladies day" at the cinema (1,100 yen only for the tickets!) so the tickets are all sold out except for the late night show (which I want to buy....later tonight if it's still available? I don't know.)
The weather forecast says that it's probably gonna SNOW tonight........so I don't know.
Even if it snows....or if I miss the last train....I can still walk home anyway, as long as I go to the cinema in Shinjuku.
Should I go or not? Depends on the availability of the tickets. And whether I'm feeling YOLO I'm gonna go watch a movie that starts at 10 pm and walk home at 1 am in the morning ALL ALONE (walking pass Kabukicho and suspicious love hotels) even tho it might snow and the temperature might drop to 1℃ , or not tonight. LOL.

Ugh. I can't go right now. I have some unfinished work to do. T_T

Life update and some thoughts about the internet fandom

Hello. It's been quite a long time since I updated this blog.
I'm still alive...I guess.
Still enjoying my free time. Still in Tokyo, but probably will spend the next two months abroad.

I've started to draw again, like since last month, because I have so much time to kill and I'm running out of ideas of what to do for fun.
Well, traveling is still my favorite thing to do but I don't have much money to do so, so I've started to pick up my pen and tablet again recently. I don't have to pay money to draw, right?

It's fun to draw whatever you want to draw everyday freely without anyone interrupting you. It's one of the best things about living in an apartment alone.

It felt weird. I hadn't been drawing for 3-4 years (and I'm not exaggerating this...)
I didn't draw at all last year. Or the year after. Didn't even doodle in class.

I now draw for self-satisfaction. I only draw whatever I like...and I don't even post my art on my art accounts anymore.
I would probably post them in the future, but for now....naah, I don't want to.
Too many real life people following me already on those accounts.
It's better for most people not knowing what I'm into.
I have weird fetish and hobbies
I created a new account....but for stuff I actually like.

One thing you may want to know is that I'm not into anime or manga at all. Never went back to those stuff....
But I know a thing or two about the trend these days. I did some experiment and watch the internet anyway. For fun.
Most people in fandoms on the internet like gay pairings. HAHAH. An already well-known fact, perhaps.
But I feel that more and more people are accepting homosexuality and talk more openly about it everyday.
At least the young people.

I'm already familiar with this, as I used to draw soft yaoi just to gain more popularity on the internet.
My conclusion is, still the same as 8 years ago: you will still get more popularity if you draw gay stuff. Male x male relationship, in particular.

It's interesting, isn't it? Why do people ship homo pairings? Why do many girls like m/m pairings? What's so interesting about them? I did draw them for fun and to practice drawing males, but I still don't know what people who ACTUALLY ship those pairings actually think. I would like to know....

I found a blog post on the internet about this.

https://ladygeekgirl.wordpress.com/2013/11/12/why-is-there-so-much-slash-fic-some-analysis-of-the-ao3-census/

"While some fans do read slash because they find it erotically compelling, there’s enough evidence here to suggest that there’s a lot more to this issue than just “hey, horny straight girls like gay guys!”. For one, they’re not all straight, and for another, they’re not all girls. Authors of every stripe might write slash because they’re emotionally, not erotically, invested in the relationship. They might write it because there actually are no female characters in the source material, they might write it because they don’t want to identify physically with the characters in the story, they might have internalized society’s underlying misogynistic messages, or they might be queer and want what queer representation they can obtain from fanfic. If there’s something we can take from these AO3 surveys, it’s that more questions need to be asked about why fanfic authors write what they write, and why fanfic consumers read what they read. The answer isn’t as simple as we commonly assume."

So...the answer is complicated.
There are so many m/m fanfictions....and I know a few of them.

tumblr_mrbd95xskx1s3ey6do1_1280.png

Sherlock Holmes/John Watson, Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester, Steve Rogers/Tony Stark, Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter....LOL of course, they're like everywhere. Especially Sherlock/John, even though I don't even watch/read the series. Wait... Harry Potter/Severus Snape got into the list????? HAHAHAHAHAHAH
No, I'm not surprised, actually. Seen them a lot on the internet. Not as much as Draco/Harry though.

Another essay on the internet says this:

Girls aren’t “making them gay.”
Girls are fantasizing about being equal.

An interesting opinion......

It makes me think more deeply about the reason why I don't ship m/m pairings....
I like males but I don't necessarily want to see two guys doing it with each other. One is enough...? I think.
And I read hetero fanfics not because I like to imagine myself as the girl, though. It's just that.....while m/m shippers want an equal relationship, I on the other hand have a fetish for unequal relationship.
Why? Because it's thrilling..........lol.
No, seriously, I think diversity is fun and relationships with 'huge gap/differences' are thrilling.
Reading homo fanfics feels like self-cest to me.
I read hetero stuff.......but I don't read the usual romantic hetero stuff. The usual romance such as between high school sweethearts or colleagues and shits are boring. I like completely different types.

If you know what I mean.

My mind is so fucked up, you wouldn't want to know. (not to the point that I like pedophilia or BDSM, mind you. I'm not that hardcore. LOL)
The society these days tend to accept homosexuality more than weird fetishes like mine,........which is why I'm keeping a low profile.
I'm not alone, though. There are people out there who like the same stuff as I do, even though not as many as slash pairing shippers. The thing about the fandom on the internet these days...is that they tend to bash what I like. It seems to me that more people consider homo pairings better than hetero.
Equality seems to become so important these days. So it's not entirely a bad thing, I guess...
I want people in this world to be equal in some ways of course, but that doesn't stop me from liking what I like.
